My stay at Merrydale Hotel was a mix of charming hospitality and some drawbacks. The owners, Suzanne and Trevor, were incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made my experience more enjoyable. However, the cleanliness of the room left something to be desired, as I noticed some unpleasant smells and a lack of basic amenities. While the breakfast was tasty and substantial, I didn't have the chance to try the evening meals, as my overall impression was tainted by the room conditions.
